Highlights - Developments in the Sahel/Mali and implications for CSDP - 3 March 2022 - Subcommittee on Security and Defence

The Subcommittee on Security and Defence will hold an exchange of views on prospects for the EU's future engagement in Mali, on 3 March. Among the speakers will be Mr Charles Fries, Deputy Secretary General of the EEAS, Vice-Admiral Hervé Bléjean, Director General of the EU Military Staff, and Francisco Esteban Perez, Director of Civilian Planning and Conduct Capability. The debate will also focus on the revision of the mandates of the CSDP missions EUTM Mali and EUCAP Sahel Mali.
